Our culinary diversity
Nature offers a great variety of culinary impulses for seasonal dishes at any time of the year. We, at the Hotel Gasthof Lercher, work with fresh ingredients from the region and are always on the lookout for new products from the immediate vicinity.
Whether freshly prepared in-house or preserved by boiling down, pickling and fermenting - from elderberry syrup, pickled mushrooms, quince jam to fermented lemons. We take the time that the product or dish needs to preserve the flavor of each ingredient and combine them in our dishes.
Food is not just cooking ingredients for us, it is valuable. In the sense of a sustainable use, we try to recycle waste and unused parts in the best possible way. Our passion is the modern converted Austrian kitchen freely after the slogan "Styrian cuisine with Austrian variety"!

Depending on the season, we look forward to what nature has to offer. Be it in spring the first asparagus, rhubarb and a kid goat, in summer the various berries, mushrooms, in autumn pumpkin, chestnuts and game and in winter cabbage, root vegetables and carp. The first of the year is known to be the best. Wild garlic, strawberries, goose or Christmas cookies - with the Lercher family your taste buds will be spoiled.

And this is how it works: You order the gourmet menu at the inn at least one day in advance. When doing so, you also inform us which foods you don't like or can't tolerate. Chef Daniel Leitner will then conjure up a personal surprise menu for you. We look forward to seeing you!

For active vacations there are a variety of possibilities in summer and winter. In summer, many hiking & biking tours, as well as a large golf course are waiting for you. In winter, you can let off steam in the ski area Kreischberg & Lachtal and when ski touring, cross-country skiing or tobogganing.
