The Lercher family works with fresh and natural ingredients and producers from the region. Our passion is the modern implemented Austrian cuisine. Whether elderberry syrup, pickled mushrooms or quince jam - every season offers delicacies that we cook, boil down, pickle or ferment. We take the time that the product or the dish needs. According to the motto "Styrian culinary art with Austrian variety and a little bit of vision". The most important thing for us is to preserve the taste of the individual product and to bring them together in our dishes.
It doesn't just have to be flowers. Together, Daniel and Anna cook a tasting menu and invite 2 winemakers who present their winery to accompany the special menu.
Typically Austrian, the Hotel Gasthof Lercher invites you to enjoy homemade herring salad at the beginning of Lent. But also, freshwater fish rarities are waiting for you!

Self collected & picked
During our favorite time of year, head out into the woods to take a breath and enjoy the sound of the trees. If you're lucky, you'll find one of the few witches' boletus, parasol or even a porcini mushroom on your plate. Depending on the whim of nature and, of course, the collector.
Wild time at the inn
Everyone sits in waiting, game stalks diligently and finally in October the time has come. The best of the local venison is served at the Lercher's Inn. Carpaccio of venison with pickled chanterelle, wild duck with cabbage sprouts, short roasted venison ragout and much more. Don’t miss this culinary experience.
Great anticipation is in the air. It has become tradition that the Leonhardi Day is veal scallop day at the Hotel Gasthof Lercher.
At the beginning of November we spoil our guests with Carinthian pasture goose from the Lassnig Family. Attention, do not forget to make a reservation, because we freshly roast the geese.
You spend a relaxing short vacation with your sweetheart in beautiful Murau. You start the day with a joint breakfast at the Hotel Gasthof Lercher. At the rich breakfast buffet, you will be spoiled with many delicacies from the region. You will spend the morning strolling through the old town of Murau until you return to the hotel at noon. Here you will then be spoiled again with first-class specialties from Styrian cuisine. A dream for every taste bud!
In the afternoon you will go to the wellness area. During a massage you can switch off your head and escape from everyday life. Afterwards, enjoy the peace and pleasant conversations with your partner. The time will fly by. At dinner you will be spoiled with wines from the region. There is no better way to end a day.
