Skiing in the Lachtal

Winter fun in close proximity to the Hotel Lercher

The Lachtal is approx. 35 minutes by car from the Hotel Gasthof Lercher in Murau and is known as the family-friendliest area of the Murtaler ski areas.

It is one of the most beautiful and biggest ski areas in Styria with 100 percent snow reliability. The highest point is located 2.222 m above sea level.

The ski area Lachtal guarantees winter fun for more than just one day. If you need an alternative to skiing, you have the chance to visit one of the excursion destinations in the region. The Lercher’s Wirtshaus provides you with regional delicacies during your stay. You also have the possibility to experience numerous activities in summer, such as golfing, hiking and cycling.

Safety in the skiing area - hygiene measures

A winter sports-appropriate facemask is required on the mountain lifts (chairlift and tow lifts) and in all queuing areas (lift ticket office, access cable cars and lifts). You will find additional lift ticket offices and ticket machines at the valley station.

Conveniently, you are able to buy your ticket online at home. The lift ticket offices and the sanitary rooms are sufficiently equipped with disinfectant dispensers.

For transportation with cable cars, a 2-G certificate is required from the age of 12. This 2-G certificate must be presented when purchasing the ticket. However, for schoolchildren the Corona test pass ("Ninja - Pass") is also valid; if the scheduled test intervals are adhered, the test is also valid on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
