The Starting point is only a few minutes from the Hotel Gasthof Lercher in Murau!
Pleasant cycling tour for beginners, but also cycling enthusiasts, consisting of 35,4 km paved roads, 5,8 km gravel paths and 1,8 km forest roads. There are a lot of resting points for refreshments, such as restaurants in Katsch an der Mur, St. Peter am Kammersberg, Schöder and Rottemann.
At your return to the Hotel Gasthof Lercher, there is a cosy dinner waiting for you at the Lercher’s Wirtshaus. We serve traditional dishes, with ingredients from the region. After dinner, you have the chance to round off the day with a stroll through the town.

Tour description:
The tour leads from the starting point east to the Stolzalpen-roundabout and continues further towards Scheifling. In Scheifling, you have to follow the Mur-cycling path R2 to Frojach. In Frojach the route continues on the Katch-cycling path R1. The next villages are St. Peter, Mitterdorf and Freistritz. From here on, you follow the R1 until just before Beierdorf. At the end of Beierdorf, you have to follow the R1 to Schöder. Afterwards, the tour guides you to Rottenmann and over the Ranten-cycling path R63 back to Murau.
