Starting point approx. 10 min by car from the Hotel Gasthof Lercher in Murau!
Categorized as a challenging hike - the tour is very long, but easy to hike. The tour leads through alpine meadows and past resting points at the Murauerhütte, Hotel Kirsche or the Riegerhütte. Worth seeing during this hike is the 360° panoramic view. The trail mostly leads you along the ridge. Depending on the weather, you are able to hike this route from May to October.
After the hike, you are able to relax at the wellness area of the Hotel Gasthof Lercher. There are different saunas and soothing massages waiting for you at the in-house “Relaxarium”. During the remaining days of your stay, you have the possibility to visit one of the countless excursion destinations in the region.

Tour description:
Starting point is the top station Kreischberg – with the cable car (only 10 min. from the hotel) you are easily able to reach the top station. From here, you walk along the ski slope to the Rosenkranzhütte. Now the climb begins to the Kirbisch and to the Seeriegel. From here, you are able to enjoy the view to the Hausersee. The tour continues to the Golfnachnock, the Schattloch and to the Prankerhöhe – the most striking summit of them all. Moving on to the Teringerloch, to the Schwarmbrunnhöhe, to the Seebodenhöhe and to the Ursch. The tour goes further towards the Trogerhütte to the Murmelfelsen - from this point on you have to follow the sign “Frauenalpe Nr. 2”. Arrived at the Frauenalpe, an approx. 1 3/3 h long trail leads directly back to Murau (trail 132/109).
